Aqua Security has released its Real-Time CSPM (cloud security posture management) solution to help security practitioners identify, prioritize and remediate their organizations' cloud security risks, according to the company.

Commenting on Real-Time CSPM, Amir Jerbi, Aqua's co-founder, said:

"Customers have told us that they are bogged down by too much noise from current CSPM offerings... We are introducing Real-Time CSPM so security practitioners can pinpoint the most significant cloud risks and remediate them quickly."

What Aqua Security Real-Time CSPM Offers

Real-Time CSPM delivers instantaneous visibility and risk prioritization in a single platform, Aqua said. It provides security practitioners with insights into their organizations' cloud security risks and context to help them identify and remediate cloud security issues in code repositories.

Real-Time CSPM pinpoints threats that evade agentless detection, Aqua indicated. It also reduces noise to help security practitioners quickly resolve threats and secure their organizations' cloud applications.

Meanwhile, Real-Time CSPM is part of the Aqua Cloud Security Platform, a cloud-native application protection platform (CNAPP). It can be used in conjunction with the Aqua Cloud Security Platform's security and compliance capabilities to "discover, prioritize and eliminate risk in minutes across the full software development life cycle," the company stated.

Aqua Security Upgrades Software Supply Chain Security Solution

Along with launching Real-Time CSPM, Aqua in May 2023 added a pipeline integrity scanner to its Software Supply Chain Security solution.

The pipeline integrity scanner helps software developers detect suspicious behaviors or malware that indicate that a supply chain attack may be underway, Aqua said.

Developers can use the scanner to:

  • Monitor the build pipeline and establish a baseline for how the build operates
  • Close security gaps in continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Create assurance policies to block completion of new builds if they show signs of suspicious activity

Aqua helps organizations stop cloud attacks across the application lifecycle. The company backs its platform and solutions with a $1 million cloud native protection warranty.

MSPs, systems integrators and solution providers can join Aqua's partner program. Aqua also offers technology integrations for all stages of the cloud native application lifecycle, the business said.
