CrowdStrike, the endpoint protection platform provider, bolstered its cloud, zero trust, automation and unified management efforts this week. Details surfaced at the Fal.Con cybersecurity conference.

The notable Fal.Con announcements included:

1. Falcon Platform Enhancements

CrowdStrike updated its Falcon platform's threat detection, response and visibility capabilities to help organizations mitigate cyberattacks across Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems, the company said. In addition, CrowdStrike introduced customization capabilities that enable organizations to tailor Falcon information views and create dashboards based on their security needs.

2. Cloud Security Module

CrowdStrike announced Falcon Horizon, a module designed to help organizations secure their multi-cloud environments. Falcon Horizon automates cloud security management across the application development lifecycle for any cloud and enables organizations to securely deploy cloud applications, the company noted.

3. Security Assessments

CrowdStrike now offers the Falcon Zero Trust Assessment (ZTA), which delivers security posture assessments across all of an organization's endpoints. Falcon ZTA helps organizations enforce conditional access based on device health and compliance checks, the company stated. Furthermore, the Falcon ZTA comes after CrowdStrike last month acquired Zero Trust access provider Preempt Security for $96 million.

4. Unified Management Console

CrowdStrike launched a Falcon unified management console that empowers security teams with the ability to access and analyze threat intelligence from various vendors, according to the company. Security teams can use the console to identify and track cyber threats and gain context into cyberattacks.

5. Automated Analysis of Incident Response Investigations

CrowdStrike unveiled Falcon Forensics to help incident response teams handle security issues and conduct forensic triage analysis into data breaches. Falcon Forensics offers pre-packaged dashboards that automate security data analysis and help incident response teams investigate security problems faster than ever before, the company said.

Along with its Fal.Con announcements, CrowdStrike earlier this year launched the CrowdStrike Developer Portal for MSSPs and other channel partners. It also has credited MSSPs and other channel partners for its recent business momentum.
