CrowdStrike has announced professional training and certifications for its Falcon cloud-based endpoint detection and response (EDR) platform. The professional training and certifications were unveiled at this week's CrowdStrike Fal.Con POWER UP user conference in Miami, Florida.The professional training and certifications are designed to teach information security professionals about security threats, compliance mandates, cyberattack techniques and master threat hunting best practices, according to the company. They also empower information security professionals with skills and insights that they can use in conjunction with Falcon to bolster their threat hunting capabilities.Falcon leverages threat telemetry to process over 1 trillion security events per week, according to CrowdStrike. It also uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and behavioral analytics to help organizations detect and respond to cyber threats.
CrowdStrike Adds Linux, Docker Capabilities
In addition to the professional training and certifications announcement, CrowdStrike this week unveiled the following Falcon upgrades:- Linux and Docker Capabilities: Falcon now supports all major Linux versions and Docker containers.
- Custom Alerts: Organizations can leverage Falcon data to build their own activity trackers and alerts.
- Secureworks Integration: Secureworks, a Top 100 MSSP for 2018 and 2017, has introduced an integration that applies its Red Cloak behavioral analytics and intelligence to Falcon platform data.
