Netsurion, a Top 250 MSSP, has upgraded its Managed Endpoint Security solution powered by Deep Instinct to provide MSSPs, MSPs and small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) with "greater integration and hands-on management services," according to a prepared statement.

The Managed Endpoint Security enhancements include:

  • Improved Deep Instinct dashboards within the Netsurion Open XDR console
  • Access to the Deep Instinct console for visibility and co-managed security and operations (SecOps) support
  • Updated support for MacOS and Linux endpoints

The enhanced Managed Endpoint Security solution can be used as a standalone or as an add-on to the Netsurion Managed XDR platform.

A Closer Look at Netsurion Managed Endpoint Security

Managed Endpoint Security offers "a complete threat prediction, prevention, detection and response set of capabilities," Netsurion noted. It provides an Open XDR platform that integrates with Deep Instinct and is backed by the company's security operations center (SOC), which offers endpoint security administration, configuration, monitoring and reporting.

Furthermore, Managed Endpoint Security predicts and prevents cyberattacks before they occur. It also provides security information and event management (SIEM), user entity and behavior analytics (UEBA) and other security capabilities.

Netsurion Remains Focused on Open XDR

Previously, Netsurion in September 2022 announced plans to focus exclusively on its Managed Open XDR solution. As part of its efforts, Netsurion in June 2022 sold its secure edge networking business to Acumera. It also appointed channel veteran John Addeo as its chief revenue officer and channel chief in June 2022.

Meanwhile, Netsurion's channel program is "rapidly growing," the company said in September 2022. MSP and MSSPs can join the program to access the tools they need to provide managed threat detection and response services.
