RSA Conference 2018: Preview Moves

The early chatter includes…

Radiflow is working with the cybersecurity division of Israeli electrical engineering firm Yanai Engineering to deliver managed security operations center (SOC) services for MSSPs.

Cylance CEO Stuart McClure

Cylance CEO Stuart McClure is expected to tackle next-generation hacking strategies — during an April 18 keynote. Cylance has been ramping up for a potential IPO, making multiple hires while expanding its MSSP-focused partner initiatives.

Fortinet plans to showcase its latest generation of network security along with the evolution of its security fabric. The MSSP-friendly company unveiled more than 200 product and service enhancements during Fortinet’s recent Accelerate 18 conference for partners and customers.

On a related note, Arista Networks has joined the Fortinet Fabric-Ready Partner Program. Product integrations will allow “advance security automation across data center and cloud networks,” the two companies claim.

RSA Conference 2018: Monday News

Cisco Systems has unveiled multiple cybersecurity and email protection tools, along with continued work with ConnectWise to help empower MSPs. On a related note, ConnectWise has unveiled an Advanced Security Dashboard to help MSPs and MSSPs to monitor, manage and monetize various Cisco security services.

CyberArk, a privileged access security solutions provider, unveiled the CyberArk Marketplace for security and IT operations teams. The move comes only a few days after the company unveiled a major partner and MSSP push.

McAfee’s Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) has added 19 new partners and seven newly certified integrated solutions. The latest partners include:

Symantec’s threat detection technology is now available to its Advanced Threat Protection (ATP) customers. The Symantec Targeted Attack Analytics (TAA) technology enables ATP customers to leverage advanced machine learning to automate the discovery of targeted attacks – the most dangerous intrusions in corporate networks, Symantec claims.
