Rubrik Launches Cyber Recovery Solution

Failure crisis concept and lost business career education opportunity. Lonely young man on a rock cliff island surrounded by an ocean storm waves

Rubrik, a zero trust security company, has released the Cyber Recovery solution as part of its Security Cloud product portfolio.

Cyber Recovery helps IT and security teams prepare for cyberattacks and minimize the risk of downtime, Rubrik said. It lets these teams test, validate and document the success of their cyber recovery plans. In addition, Cyber Recovery allows IT and security teams to recover their last-known clean copy of data and perform forensic investigations in isolated recovery environments.

How Rubrik Cyber Recovery Works

IT and security teams can use Cyber Recovery to clone their backup data in isolated recovery environments, monitor their recovery progress following cyberattacks and download reports about their recovery performance, Rubrik noted. They also can conduct security tests in isolated recovery environments as their recovery gets underway.

Furthermore, IT and security teams can utilize Cyber Recovery to track various performance metrics, Rubrik stated. That way, they can verify that their organizations can meet recovery SLAs.

Rubrik Adds Microsoft Support

Along with launching Cyber Recovery, Rubrik has announced that its Ransomware Monitoring & Investigation and Sensitive Data Monitoring & Management solutions now support Microsoft OneDrive and SharePoint, NAS Cloud Direct and Azure Virtual Machines.

With Microsoft support, IT and security teams can use Ransomware Monitoring & Investigation and Sensitive Data Monitoring & Management to gain insights into the impact of ransomware on their organizations, Rubrik stated. They also can assess sensitive data exposure within their organizations' cloud-based workloads.

Meanwhile, Rubrik will continue to expand its capabilities to more cloud workloads, the company said. In doing so, Rubrik will help its customers protect their data across enterprise, cloud and SaaS applications.

Rubrik Boosts Its Annual Recurring Revenue

Previously, Rubrik in August 2022 reported it surpassed $400 million in annual recurring revenue (ARR). This represented a year-over-year ARR increase of more than 100%.

More than 4,500 global organizations use Rubrik's products to secure their applications. Rubrik also offers a partner program that enables MSSPs and MSPs to deliver "Rubrik-as-a-service," the company indicated.
