A1 Embraces RadarServices for Security Operations Center as a Service

A1, an Austrian mobile network operator, has added the RadarServices security operations center-as-a-service (SOCaaS) offering to its managed security services portfolio.

Organizations can use A1 SOCaaS to detect, analyze and evaluate security risks in IT infrastructure and operational IT environments, according to a prepared statement. They also can leverage A1 SOCaaS for central management and combined security across the following information and communication technologies (ICT) areas:

  • Applications.
  • Clients.
  • Industrial networks.
  • Servers.
  • Storage.

A1 SOCaaS identifies cyberattacks and offers security recommendations to address these attacks, the companies said. It adapts to various service processes and can be installed on site or run in A1’s data center.

RadarServices’ SOCaaS: Here’s What You Need to Know

An organization can use RadarServices’ SOCaaS to set up an SOC and manage its continuous operation, the company stated. Furthermore, an organization can choose from a variety of RadarServices SOCaaS security modules, including:

  • Advanced Threat Detection: Identifies malware on email and web applications.
  • Host-Based Intrusion Detection System: Analyzes, monitors and detects host anomalies.
  • Network-Based Intrusion Detection: Offers network traffic analysis.
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM): Collects, analyzes and correlates security logs.
  • Vulnerability Management and Assessment: Delivers internal and external vulnerability scans.

RadarServices’ SOCaaS also provides incident response and forensics and real-time alerting, the company stated. That way, organizations can use RadarServices’ SOCaaS to keep pace with evolving cyberattacks.

What Is SOCaaS?

SOCaaS is a security service that delivers real-time monitoring, detection and analysis of cyber threats. In addition to the A1 SOCaaS, several other SOCaaS offerings are now available, including:

  • Arctic Wolf Networks: Provides CyberSOC, which blends human expertise and machine intelligence to drive threat prevention, detection and response.
  • ProficioProvides a cloud-based SOC that offers threat detection, protection and response.
  • StratoZenEnables managed service providers (MSPs) to leverage StratoZen’s white-labeled SOC to become an MSSP.

As organizations search for ways to lower their operating costs and improve their cybersecurity efforts, the demand for SOCaaS may increase. Meanwhile, MSSPs can offer SOCaaS to differentiate themselves from the competition and drive revenue growth.
