SentinelOne Announces Torq No-Code Security Automation Integration

SentinelOne has integrated Torq no-code security automation capabilities into its Singularity eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform, according to a prepared statement.

Organizations can access the SentinelOne-Torq integration through the SentinelOne’s Singularity Marketplace.

SentinelOne combines security alerts with Torq workflows, which automatically enriches alerts from any system with data from Singularity. The system uses fully or partially autonomous remediation workflows to resolve threats.

In addition, the SentinelOne-Torq integration helps security teams orchestrate threat hunting, information sharing and ticket creation for vulnerability management, according to SentinelOne and Torq. Security teams can create no-code interactive chat bots to manage SentinelOne endpoints from within Slack or other chat tools.

The new integration comes after SentinelOne participated in Torq’s $50 million Series B funding round in December 2021, which raised the company’s total financing to $78 million. Torq is using the Series B funding to expand its operations to meet increasing demand for its no-code security automation platform from MSSPs.

How MSSPs Can Use Torq’s Platform

Torq says its platform connects security infrastructure and communication tools and automates workflows across these systems. MSSPs can deploy the platform out of the box in minutes and without any coding, installation or “connectors.”

MSSPs can use Torq’s platform to automate and orchestrate security workflows. That way, MSSPs can secure customers’ cloud infrastructure and ensure that it complies with data security regulations.

Torq’s platform enables MSSPs to hunt for threats based on triggered events from security information and event management (SIEM), XDR and other security systems. This helps MSSPs speed up incident response and reduce alert fatigue.

MSSPs Can Integrate Torq’s Platform into Their Offerings

In January 2022, Torq launched the Automation Alliance global partner program for MSSPs, VARs, distributors, systems integrators and managed detection and response (MDR) providers. Channel partners could now leverage Torq’s platform and provide them with access to sales and marketing materials.

Meanwhile, Torq reported a 300% year-over-year growth in its customer base in 2021. The company looks poised to expand its Automation Alliance program as it grows its customer base.
