IBM Cloud customers can now leverage Alert Logic's managed detection and response (MDR) services, the two companies disclosed today. Key adopters include WebJaguar, a B2B-focused e-commerce website platform provider.

In a prepared statement about the relationship, Alert Logic CEO Bob Lyons said:

"Our partnership with IBM Cloud ensures their midsize clients can leverage Alert Logic's proven and cost-effective managed detection and response solution for always-on protection against cyber attacks. The unique combination of Alert Logic's unrivaled threat management capabilities and the trusted IBM Cloud platform empowers resource-constrained organizations to achieve enterprise-class security as they transform their businesses."

Alert Logic: Cloud and MSP Relationships

Alert Logic MDR protects a growing list of public cloud services, and has built relationships with multiple MSPs and MSSPs since launching a more formalized partner program in October 2018.

For instance, Rackspace and Alert Logic in January 2020 launched an Amazon Web Services (AWS) security review program for small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers. The program allows SMBs to analyze the configurations of their AWS environments against AWS CIS Foundations Benchmarks and measure their performance against AWS reviews.

Rackspace is a Top 200 public cloud MSP for 2019, according to ChannelE2E. Also, Alert Logic is a Top 20 MDR service provider, MSSP Alert reports.
