Anti-Malvertising Acquisition: Human Security Buys

Human Security, a company that protects organizations against bots and fraud and account abuse, has acquired anti-malvertising provider for an undisclosed sum.

This is technology M&A deal number 942 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.

Human Security, founded in 2012, is based in New York, New York. The company has 389 employees listed on LinkedIn. Human Security's areas of expertise include application security, bot management and online security.

Clean, founded in 2017, is based in Baltimore, Maryland. The company has 28 employees listed on LinkedIn. Clean specializes in malvertising prevention.

Human Security Bolsters Its Cybersecurity Platform

Clean's products have been integrated into Human Security's Human Defense Platform, the companies stated. This ensures that Human Defense Platform users can utilize these products to guard against cyber fraud and abuse. It also enables Human Security to deliver real-time anti-malvertising capabilities.

In addition, Clean "accelerates" Human Security's leadership position, the businesses indicated. It allows Human Security to protect its customers early in the attack cycle against all forms of digital attacks, including bots, fraud, account abuse and malvertising.

Human Security Racks Up Acquisitions

Meanwhile, Human Security is making strategic acquisitions "to provide enhanced protection against automated threats for customers," the company said. Clean represents Human Security's third strategic move to date in 2022.

Previously, Human Security in July 2022 merged with application protection company Perimeter X. Human Security also raised $100 million in funding led by growth equity firm WestCap and venture capital firm NightDragon.

Hunter Security protects brands from bots, fraud, account abuse and other digital attacks. The company provides solutions for government agencies, enterprises and other organizations. It also offers a partner program and platform integrations.
