MSSP Career Move: Digital Hands Hires SecureWorks Veteran Jeff Multz

Digital Hands -- a Top 200 MSSP, SOCaaS and MDR (managed detection and response) cybersecurity service provider -- has hired SecureWorks veteran Jeff Multz as chief revenue officer (CRO).

Multz will lead Digital Hands' global sales strategy and execution for both direct and partner growth objectives, the Tampa, Florida-based MSSP says.

The move comes less than one year after Digital Hands raised $15 million from private equity firm Fulcrum Equity Partners. The MSSP has also built a relationship with global distributor Ingram Micro.

The overall Digital Hands cybersecurity portfolio spans:

  • MSSP Services;
  • Managed Firewall;
  • Managed IDS/IPS;
  • Web Application Firewall;
  • Network Security;
  • Unified Threat Management; and
  • Managed Endpoint Protection.

Digital Hands supports over 40 cybersecurity technologies and intends to expand legacy support to an increasingly complex vendor environment, the company says.

Digital Hands Hires Jeff Multz: Executive Perspectives

In a prepared statement about the hire, Digital hands CEO Charlotte Baker said:

"It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome Jeff as a member of our leadership team. With his impressive track record in global cybersecurity sales and technology, I am confident that he will elevate our go-to-market strategy and accelerate our planned business transformation. Jeff's wealth of experience in building successful high performance sales teams and maintaining lasting customer relationships will be instrumental to our growth strategy. We look forward to the signature he will etch on the Digital Hands journey as he builds out the sales engine."

Added Multz:

"I am truly honored and excited to join this 'mature startup' and leverage my decades of sales leadership and entrepreneurial experience for the new generation of sales at Digital Hands. In today's complex and hyper vigilant world of cybersecurity, enterprises are struggling to not just maintain their own security team, but most importantly to identify a trusted partner to protect their most valuable assets 24x7. Digital Hands has a long legacy of partnering DNA and I am excited to launch their selling efforts to support a market in need of their longstanding expertise."

Prior to joining Digital Hands, Multz spent 16 years at SecureWorks. His roles there included Vice President of Sales North America; General Manager/Representative Director SecureWorks Japan K.K., and pioneer of Global Strategic Alliances and OEM.
