GoSecure has acquired EdgeWave to blend managed detection and response (MDR), email inbox security and other managed security services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
EdgeWave's email security platform offers pre- and post-delivery detection and automated incident response to mitigate phishing, ransomware and other cybersecurity threats, the company says. EdgeWave has more than 2,000 customers and over 100 channel partners, the company says.
GoSecure, meanwhile, specializes in MDR and also offers cybersecurity threat assessments, security audits and penetration testing, and managed security services, powered by the CounterTack platform.
