MSSP Kompingo Adds Conceal Web Browser Security to MDR Services

Kompingo has added Conceal zero trust web browser security capabilities to its managed detection and response (MDR) services.

Together, Kompingo and Conceal intend to "set a new benchmark in cybersecurity," the companies announced.

ConcealBrowse Is Now Available to Kompingo's Customers and MSP Partners

Integrating Conceal's ConcealBrowse web browser security solution into Kompingo's MDR services aligns with the MSSP's vision to offer "top-tier, holistic security solutions," Kompingo Director Toby Caton said.

Organizations can use Kompingo's MDR services with ConcealBrowse to defend against sophisticated web threats, the companies noted. They also can utilize Kompingo's artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities in conjunction with Conceal's web content analysis.

In addition, Kompingo is offering ConcealBrowse as a standalone solution to its MSP partners and resellers, the company stated. By doing so, Kompingo enables its MSP partners and resellers to use ConcealBrowse to enhance their offerings.

ConcealBrowse Lets Users Add Malware Protection to Any Web Browser

Organizations can use ConcealBrowse to convert any web browser into a zero trust browser, Conceal said. ConcealBrowse stops ransomware and credential theft that bypass other security controls. It also can be deployed in minutes and does not require any training to use.

With ConcealBrowse, organizations can protect their endpoints and users against malicious, unknown URLs, Conceal stated. If ConcealBrowse identifies such URLs, it isolates them.

AI Engine Helps Users Identify Risky Web Pages

Conceal in August 2023 unveiled its ConcealSherpaAI engine, which utilizes AI to protect web browsers against novel threats, phishing and credential theft, the company said.

ConcealSherpaAI looks for metadata signals on a webpage and determines whether to quarantine, block or permit access, Conceal stated. AI adjusts the weights of these signals while identifying new ones. As a result, ConcealSherpaAI safeguards users against threat actors that continually revise their tactics to evade security solutions.

Conceal is a "channel-first organization," according to the company. Along with Kompingo, Conceal has established partnerships with Binary Defense and other MSSPs and MDR providers. It also offers an MSP Community Program and partner program for technology providers.
