SentinelOne, an endpoint security company that partners with MSPs and MSSPs, has appointed Patty Trexler as its VP of government, healthcare and education. Trexler is expected to explore ways to help public sector organizations leverage next-generation endpoint security solutions to defend against cyberattacks, according to a prepared statement.

Trexler previously served as regional VP of public sector sales at Tanium, an endpoint security and systems management company. She also has held senior leadership roles at VMware and performed work in the federal space for McAfee.

In addition to the Trexler hire, SentinelOne in June 2020 named Chuck Fontana as its SVP of corporate and business development. In this role, Fontana spearheads SentinelOne's integration partner ecosystem and alliance strategy, creates technology partnerships and evaluates ways to bolster the company's sales and market reach.

Prior to joining SentinelOne, Fontana served as VP of strategic partnerships and integrations at identity and access management (IAM) company Okta. Furthermore, Fontana has held several leadership roles at Cisco Systems.

What Do the New Hires Mean for SentinelOne?

SentinelOne has quietly built growing momentum in the MSP and MSSP business channels. Key moves include partnering with SolarWinds to deliver SolarWinds Endpoint Detection and Response for MSPs and MSSPs. The OEM relationship allows SolarWinds partners to detect and respond to cyber threats across virtual, physical, endpoint, server or cloud environments.

Along with SolarWinds, other SentinelOne partners include Exabeam, Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks.
