Intelligence Fusion, founded in 2014, is based in Durham, U.K. The company has 37 employees listed on LinkedIn. Intelligence Fusion's areas of expertise include threat intelligence, global security monitoring and risk analysis.
Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Sigma7 Adds Data Visualization Capabilities
Intelligence Fusion combines real-time visualization of security threats with human interpretation of security data to bolster Sigma7's risk information and services platform, the companies said. It will allow organizations to use Sigma7's platform to make informed decisions about the potential impact of security events on their operations.
In addition, the Intelligence Fusion acquisition comes after Sigma7 in June 2022 purchased Risk & Strategic Management (RSM), which offers risk and business continuity, management services and training services. It also marks Sigma7's fifth acquisition since the company launched in May 2022.
The Road Ahead for Sigma7
Sigma7 is focused on "continued expansion in building a comprehensive, technology-enabled risk management platform," the company stated. It also is exploring "targeted acquisitions and strategic hires" to further expand its global presence.
Along with Intelligence Fusion and RSM, Sigma7's portfolio companies include:
- Paragon Risk Engineering, which provides risk engineering services to commercial insurers
- Strategia Worldwide, a strategic risk advisory services provider
- RWH Myers, an accounting loss recovery firm.
Sigma7 is a portfolio company of Growth Catalyst Partners, a private equity firm that invests in information, marketing and tech-enabled services businesses. It offers technical, sector and geographic risk expertise to over 400 customers globally. Sigma7 does not currently offer a channel partner program but may look to provide one in the future.
