Security M&A: Zero Trust Company OneIDLab, Identity Management Provider Tozny Merge

Businessmen join hands in pieces of white and red jigsaw puzzles, teamwork concepts, business solutions, success concepts and strategies, links and connections.

OneIDLab, a zero trust security posture management company, and identity management and data security company Tozny are joining forces, according to a prepared statement. Going forward, the joint company will operate as Tozny Inc.

This is technology M&A deal number 391 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.

The merger combines Tozny's integrated identity and access management (IAM), privileged access management (PAM), key management and data encryption solutions with OneIDLab's Secure Remote Access and advanced decentralized identity token solutions, the companies said. In doing so, the merger allows Tozny to deliver a cybersecurity platform that organizations can use to secure and manage their identities, data and keys with a zero trust architecture.

Furthermore, the OneIDLab merger comes after Tozny in April 2022 added $2.2 million in a seed funding round. Tozny will use the funding to accelerate its product development and sales efforts, the company indicated.

A Closer Look at Tozny

Tozny delivers cybersecurity products implemented on a risk-informed basis, the company noted. These products allow customers to scale their level of security and control associated costs based on the systems, devices and equipment they use.

Organizations can deploy Tozny solutions via cloud, on-premises and hybrid implementations, the company said. They can use these solutions to protect their infrastructure and business systems and data.

Global organizations use Tozny solutions to secure millions of end-users against cyberattacks. Meanwhile, Tozny does not currently offer a channel partner program but may look to provide one in the future.
