Acronis and
LastPass are working together to provide password management for MSPs via the
Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud data and cybersecurity protection platform, according to the companies.
In addition, Acronis has created the
MSP Academy, an educational initiative designed to provide MSPs with business and technology knowledge, skills and tools.
MSPs Can Secure Their Customers' Logins
With Acronis and LastPass technologies, MSPs can help their customers and employees log in to their accounts and generate, secure and share credentials without interrupting their workflows, the companies noted. MSPs can also access various LastPass admin functions, such as managing user access and requiring master password changes.
Furthermore, MSPs can use Cyber Protect Cloud and join the
LastPass Allegiance Partner Program, the companies noted. That way, they can access LastPass on-boarding and support, marketing resources and other tools and resources and the
LastPass University training platform.
Acronis Helps MSPs Grow
MSP Academy highlights Acronis' commitment to support the development of the global MSP market, the company said.
With MSP Academy, MSPs can access a learning platform that covers many how-to topics, such as:
- Starting an MSP
- Running a successful MSP business
- Marketing an MSP business
- Optimizing the efficiency and productivity of MSP technicians
Acronis Provides an MSP Curriculum
MSP Academy features a curriculum that encompasses training that covers all aspects of managing an MSP business, Acronis noted. The curriculum's content consists of bite-sized modules ranging from 3-7 minutes.
Meanwhile, MSP Academy participants can take an exam to receive a
Credly badge to share with their peers and customers, Acronis pointed out. They can then use this badge to illustrate their security qualifications and commitment to continuous learning.
Syncro Offers Acronis Backup and Storage Management Solutions
Along with integrating Cyber Protect Cloud with LastPass and launching its MSP Academy, Acronis in November 2023
announced a partnership with Syncro, which provides a professional services automation (PSA) and remote monitoring and management (RMM) platform for MSPs.
Syncro and Acronis provide MSPs with backup and storage management solutions that they can use to protect their customers against cyberattacks, the businesses indicated. These solutions allow MSPs to integrate backup and anti-ransomware technologies into their offerings.
Acronis offers data protection and cybersecurity solutions that address "safety, accessibility, privacy, authenticity and security (SAPAS) challenges of the modern digital world," according to the business. The company's Cyber Protect solution is used by 20,000 service providers to protect over 750,000 businesses.
