Arctic Wolf, Anthropic Partner to Advance Autonomous SOCs, Launch Cipher

Arctic Wolf and Anthropic have announced a strategic collaboration focused on accelerating the development of autonomous Security Operations Centers (SOCs). The partnership brings together Arctic Wolf’s operational expertise and extensive threat data with Anthropic’s advancements in building safe and controllable AI systems.

The Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform, which handles more than 8 trillion security events weekly, integrates with hundreds of tools across endpoint, network, cloud, and identity environments. Drawing from its experience supporting over 10,000 organizations globally, Arctic Wolf has built a scalable platform designed to deliver real-time visibility and actionable insights across diverse enterprise environments.

Building on this foundation, Arctic Wolf is working with Anthropic to apply large language model (LLM) technologies to enhance detection precision, accelerate incident response, and strengthen cyber resilience. The collaboration seeks to drive automation deeper into the security operations lifecycle by leveraging Arctic Wolf’s robust datasets and Anthropic’s AI models.

The first result of this effort is Cipher, an AI security assistant integrated into the Arctic Wolf Aurora Platform. Cipher enables security teams to quickly access reliable insights with high standards for safety and privacy. It enhances investigations and alert comprehension by providing instant answers, contextual enrichment, and actionable summaries—helping teams respond with greater speed and accuracy.

Cipher is part of Arctic Wolf’s Alpha AI portfolio, which builds on the company's large-scale security data lake. By combining real-world analyst expertise with broad threat visibility, Alpha AI technologies—including Cipher—help organizations bridge the gap between overwhelming data volumes and limited security resources, enabling smarter investigations and faster response to emerging threats.
