ArmorPoint and CIT Partner to Expand Managed Cybersecurity Services

Puzzle Security Managers

Businesses are facing a steady rise in both the volume and sophistication of cyberattacks, and many are realizing their existing defenses aren’t enough. To address this challenge, Computer Integration Technologies, Inc. (CIT) has partnered with ArmorPoint to expand its managed cybersecurity services, giving customers access to a broader range of protection without the cost or complexity of building new infrastructure.

Scaling Security Without the SOC Burden

CIT has been providing managed IT services, cloud solutions, and SOC-as-a-service for more than 30 years. While these services have helped organizations maintain operational stability, the shifting threat landscape demands more adaptive and proactive solutions. By integrating ArmorPoint’s portfolio of cybersecurity tools and program management capabilities, CIT will give customers access to broader, more flexible, and end-to-end security services that can be tailored to individual risk profiles.

Ashley Capps, Chief Revenue Officer at ArmorPoint told MSSP Alert that the partnership allows CIT to scale security services without the burden of building its own SOC.

“CIT can quickly expand its security offerings without taking on the cost, complexity, or risk of building their own SOC. Through ArmorPoint’s fully managed cybersecurity ecosystem, they get 24/7 SOC monitoring, vulnerability management, strategic advisory services, and our proprietary, cloud-based SIEM,” she said.

Capps explained that because ArmorPoint operates its own data center, it can deliver that SIEM at lower cost than providers reliant on third-party infrastructure - cost savings that translate into pricing flexibility for partners and a stronger competitive position.

That efficiency is paired with an integration-first approach. “Most MSPs already have point solutions in place for their clients, and replacing them can be expensive, disruptive, and a hit to client trust,” Capps noted. “Our ‘integrate, don’t rip and replace’ approach brings those existing tools into our SOC, unifying everything in one place without undoing previous work.”

This transparency extends to partner access, with no “black box” restrictions - anything ArmorPoint’s SOC analysts can see and do, partners can too.

For CIT, this model means the ability to serve more clients, enter regulated industries with confidence, and keep costs competitive while growing faster and with less operational risk. “Across our partner base, we’ve seen this approach help MSPs double managed security revenue within a year and expand into verticals they previously avoided,” Capps said.

Meeting the Needs of Regulated Industries

The benefits are especially relevant in regulated sectors where 24/7 SOC coverage is critical.

“In these industries, having round-the-clock SOC coverage is just the starting point. How you deliver it matters,” Capps said.

She pointed out that ArmorPoint avoids forcing partners to abandon existing tools, instead integrating them into its proprietary SIEM and layering in compliance-ready services for frameworks like HIPAA, PCI, and GLBA. This allows partners to preserve prior investments, add the value of a managed SOC, and differentiate on both capability and price.

The ArmorPoint Partner Program also accelerates time to market. “We provide onboarding in as little as 30 to 45 days, co-branded sales resources, direct access to our security engineers, and go-to-market support,” Capps explained. “We’ve seen partners close some of their largest deals within weeks of launch because they could prove continuous SOC coverage and compliance alignment from day one.”

Through this partnership, CIT joins a growing network of providers leveraging ArmorPoint’s technology, services, and collaborative delivery model to strengthen security for customers. For businesses navigating an increasingly challenging cyber environment, that combination offers both immediate protection and a foundation for long-term resilience.
