Trellix has announced generative artificial intelligence capabilities for its eXtended detection and response (XDR) platform.The company unveiled the capabilities at the Amazon Web Services (AWS) re:Invent 2023 event, which takes place November 27-December 1, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Trellix Expands Its Partnership with AWS
The new Trellix generative AI capabilities are built on Amazon Bedrock, a platform that lets users develop and launch generative AI applications, and the Trellix Advanced Research Center. They provide users with "accelerated threat remediation and improved support," according to the company.With Trellix's generative AI capabilities, users can:- Conduct AI-guided investigations to evaluate cyber risks and respond to cyberattacks.
- Utilize Trellix's customer support chatbot to get answers to questions covered in Trellix's product documentation.
- Leverage AI-based tools that adapt to users' environments and provide users with playbook workflows, the ability to develop custom security rules and access to product integrations.
