Binary Defense, an MSSP and managed detection and response (MDR) solution provider, has hired Jack Jackson as its VP of worldwide channels. Jackson is expected to drive the growth of Binary Defense's partner community and help the company expand its global footprint.

Jackson previously managed global channel sales at TrustArc, a privacy compliance and risk management solutions provider. In this role, Jackson helped TrustArc launch its worldwide channel program.

In addition, Jackson has worked at wireless broadband solutions company Mimosa Networks, where he was responsible for worldwide revenue. Jackson also has two decades of technology industry experience.

What Does the Jackson Hire Mean for Binary Defense?

Jackson could help Binary Defense grow its channel sales and foster new partnerships with MSPs and technology distributors via the company's partner program, CEO Mike Valentine said in a prepared statement.

Binary Defense's partner program enables MSPs and technology distributors to offer the company's MDR, security information and event management (SIEM) and Counterintelligence cyber intelligence solutions. The program provides partners with ongoing sales support and other tools to help MSPs and technology distributors increase their channel sales.

Global MDR Market Growth Forecast

Binary Defense looks poised to capitalize on the rising demand for MDR solutions globally, too.

Global MDR market revenues are projected to increase at a compound annual growth rate of 31.6 percent between 2017 and 2022, according to industry analyst ReportLinker. These revenues also could total nearly $1.7 billion by 2022.
