BlueVoyant Launches Optimization Service for Microsoft Security Tools

The dangers of running expired security software is a key takeaway from the Microsoft Security Intelligence Report 17. Read more

BlueVoyant has rolled out a new enterprise cybersecurity service aimed at helping organizations improve security outcomes and manage costs more effectively using Microsoft Security technologies. The service, called Continuous Optimization for Microsoft Security (COMS), focuses on maximizing the value of Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and other Microsoft Security products by offering tailored configuration, analytics, and expert guidance.

While Microsoft Security offers powerful capabilities across threat detection and response, many enterprises face challenges in scaling these tools effectively. From tuning detection rules to managing cloud infrastructure costs, teams often lack the internal bandwidth or specialized expertise to keep systems aligned with evolving threats. COMS was designed to address this operational gap.

The service provides organizations with direct access to BlueVoyant’s threat detection engineering team, proprietary tooling for Defender health assessments, and weekly intelligence reports to guide response planning. Each customer is assigned a dedicated Microsoft Security Architect who acts as a Technical Account Manager—ensuring not only the smooth deployment of capabilities but also ongoing strategic alignment across security priorities.

COMS also includes live instruction within the client’s environment to support skill development and long-term operational maturity. Whether organizations are running their own security operations centers or working with third-party providers, the service is flexible enough to support a variety of operational models. It is particularly well-suited for enterprises seeking to balance co-managed support with in-house control.

The offering builds on BlueVoyant’s track record with Microsoft Security tools, having supported thousands of clients through assessments, deployments, and optimizations. By integrating COMS into its portfolio, BlueVoyant expands its role from detection and response to full-scale technology enablement—giving clients a more strategic approach to managing risk, compliance, and cost-efficiency across Microsoft environments.
