CrowdStrike and Dell expand AI security collaboration

Channel partners pursuing enterprise artificial intelligence projects must determine how their security services align with new vendor-managed offerings, with further coverage provided by Channel Insider.

CrowdStrike announced on Nov. 2 an expanded collaboration with Dell to integrate Falcon Guardian, Falcon Cloud Security and Falcon Next-Gen Security Information and Event Management into the Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA. This integration aims to protect artificial intelligence agents, cloud workloads, and enterprise security operations. Dell is simultaneously expanding its Managed Detection and Response services to support these capabilities, providing 24/7 monitoring and incident response across the artificial intelligence stack.

While the partnership offers a more integrated approach to securing infrastructure, it introduces complexities for value-added resellers and managed service providers. Partners must clarify reseller eligibility, margin structures, and service boundaries, particularly regarding Dell's exclusive management of these security tools. Before deployment, providers should document responsibilities for alert monitoring and incident escalation to avoid contract overlaps or security gaps.

Experts suggest that partners focus on complementary services such as identity controls, security testing, and data governance to add value within these enterprise projects. Clear communication regarding support ownership and license renewals remains essential for maintaining effective service delivery in these complex environments.
