Two Six Technologies, backed by global investment firm The Carlyle Group, has acquired River Loop Security, which specializes in Internet of Things (IoT) and embedded device cybersecurity. Financial terms for the acquisition were not disclosed.This is technology M&A deal number 325 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.River Loop strengthens Two Six's ability to address the mission needs of its national security customers, Two Six CEO Joe Logue said. It will help Two Six develop new technologies to meet the needs of its customers and end users.In addition, the River Loop acquisition expands Two Six's workforce to over 500 professionals, the companies said. It also comes after Two Six and River Loop previously partnered for several years on multiple programs for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).River Loop also provides several cybersecurity services, such as:River Loop offers its cybersecurity solutions and services to organizations in healthcare, telecommunications and other industries. It does not currently offer a channel partner program.
