eSentire Unveils Risk Advisory, Managed Prevention Services

Share

eSentire, a Top 100 MSSP and Top 20 managed detection and response (MDR) provider, has unveiled Risk Advisory and Managed Prevention services, along with a Managed Endpoint Defense offering powered by cybersecurity company Carbon Black.

The MSSP introduced Risk Advisory and Managed Prevention and Managed Endpoint Defense at this week's Black Hat Europe conference in London.

Risk Advisory and Managed Prevention assesses an organization's people, processes, policies and technologies to identify security risks and gaps, according to eSentire. It also evaluates an organization's security program maturity, policies, architecture and response capabilities.

Managed Endpoint Defense allows organizations to deploy next-generation antivirus protection to prevent cyberattackers from executing payloads and compromising systems, eSentire indicated. It is expected to be released next month.

Furthermore, eSentire plans to launch the next-generation version of its esRECON service in the first quarter of 2019. esRECON helps organizations identify security vulnerabilities within infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments.

eSentire Launches New MDR Solutions for Channel Partners

In addition to eSentire's Black Hat Europe announcements, the company last month introduced Malicious Activity Assessment (MAA) and Rapid Assist solutions for channel partners.

MAA provides channel partners' customers with 45 days of continuous network monitoring, eSentire noted. It highlights security blind spots and allows channel partners to address customers' areas of greatest risk.

Rapid Assist fills gaps in the incident response lifecycle, according to eSentire. It allows channel partners to collect customer network and endpoint data and explore ways to limits threat actor dwell time during cyberattacks.

What Is eSentire?

eSentire is a Canadian pure-play MDR provider that helps organizations identify, investigate and respond to known and unknown cyber threats in real-time. The company's flagship MDR service is deployed across more than 1,900 sites and monitors endpoints ranging from 50 to 50,000 units per site.

Furthermore, eSentire maintains a 98 percent customer retention rate, the company indicated. It also has posted growth across its sales and expanded its customer base in 2018 and recorded 349 percent revenue growth from 2014 to 2017.
