GoSecure Partners With Microsoft For Bigger Push Into MDR, XDR Markets

Share

GoSecure is now supporting Microsoft’s security products through a partnership that expands its growing managed detection and response (MDR) and extended detection and response (XDR) technology integrations, the company announced in a prepared statement.

GoSecure Chief Technology Officer Jeff Schmidt explained the rationale behind the partnership with Microsoft:

“Becoming a Microsoft Partner is an example of our commitment to optimizing clients’ investments in security products and our strategic approach to continuously improving our clients’ cybersecurity defenses. We are constantly tracking the threat landscape, investing in our security operation team's training and capabilities, aggregating insights across our portfolio of customers and most importantly, listening when they provide direct feedback.”

Improving Threat Intelligence

GoSecure notes that its support for the Microsoft security suite enables the company to acquire additional endpoint data to deliver more timely, accurate and actionable threat intelligence to its security operations team.

Schmidt explained how the partnership with Microsoft meets GoSecure’s goal of strengthening its ability to improve the cyber defense of its customers:

“The end goal is to enhance our ability to deliver high-quality, exercised detections and responses for our Titan MDR and XDR customers. We will continue to explore additional integrations to ensure we're leveraging all means possible to provide the greatest value, benefit and security possible.”

The Titan MDR platform delivers predictive multi-vector detection, prevention and response to counter cyber threats. Titan offers a detection to mitigation speed of less than 15 minutes, according to GoSecure.

Kevin Magee, chief security and compliance officer for Microsoft Canada, described the synergy with GoSecure:

“In today’s rapidly changing cybersecurity environment and sophisticated attacks, it’s critical that our mutual customers rely on proactive solutions, like GoSecure’s Titan MDR offerings, to help protect their infrastructure. We are pleased that GoSecure will continue to make their security expertise and solutions available to help our mutual customers improve their overall security.”

GoSecure Goes Big on MDR With Covail Purchase

In bolstering its MDR business, GoSecure in December 2021 purchased cybersecurity and digital optimization company Covail, MSSP Alert reported. The Covail acquisition came after GoSecure in December 2020 added $35 million in a Series E funding round to expand its MDR market presence.

GoSecure offers a partner program that lets MSSPs and MSPs integrate Titan MDR and XDR into their portfolios.
