Halcyon Expands MSSP, VAR Partner Ecosystem

Share

MSSPs, VARs and other channel vendors are increasingly adopting the Halcyon cyber resilience platform to address more cybersecurity use cases than ever before, according to the company.

Halcyon launched its channel partner program in June 2022. Since that time, more than 70 partners have joined the program, Halcyon said. Also, more than 250 deals have been submitted through the Halcyon partner network and two-thirds of all opportunities have been closed via Halcyon partners.

What the Halcyon Partner Program Offers

With Halcyon's platform, MSSPs and VARs can deliver anti-ransomware protection, the company indicated.

Furthermore, Halcyon works with technology partners to build security solutions and incident response partners that can utilize the company's platform in conjunction with their artifact collection and investigation tools, the business noted.

Vertek, Revelstoke Security Partner with Halcyon

In September 2023, Vertek, a business processing and software applications company, and Halcyon launched RansomMDR, an anti-ransomware managed detection and response (MDR) service. Organizations can use RansomMDR to monitor for possible compromises and intrusions on endpoints, the companies said.

Previously, security automation platform provider Revelstoke Security in June 2023 unveiled a Halcyon integration. Organizations can use Revelstoke and Halcyon's technologies to "enhance efficiency of their security operations team, instill cyber resilience across their organizations and minimize the threat of ransomware," the businesses indicated.

Halcyon also noted that it plans to announce several integrations in 2024.

A Closer Look at Halcyon's Cyber Resilience Platform

Halcyon's platform is designed to augment eXtended detection and response (XDR) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms, the company said. This platform combines pre-execution defense with deception and anti-detonation techniques to block ransomware before it executes. It uses machine learning engines trained on ransomware to help users make data-driven security decisions.

In addition, Halcyon's platform offers bypass and evasion protection, key capture and automated decryption and exfiltration and extortion prevention capabilities, the business noted. It also has been tested for use alongside security tools from CrowdStrike, SentinelOne and other technology providers.
