Legato Security, a managed detection and response (MDR) provider, has partnered with Hubble, a technology asset visibility and cyber posture specialist, to produce MDR+, a new entry into the market that combines cyber protection with asset intelligence and management.

A "Disruptive Offering"

By folding asset intelligence with existing MDR services, the providers said they have produced a “disruptive offering that will provide more visibility and security than other standard MDR services today.” The MDR+ solution fills a crucial gap in the MSSP/MDR market by integrating asset intelligence and improving the relay of pertinent information, allowing for more strategic responses, the partners said. The MDR+ service is available now.

Hubble’s Aurora platform is designed to enable organizations to manage and protect their assets by providing a continually updated map of an organization's network and all of the assets within it. The platform features customizable dashboards and open architecture that enables integration with existing security tools.

Partnership a "Perfect Match"

Legato’s MDR services afford customers insight and control over their cybersecurity, the company said. Tom Boyden, Legato chief executive, called the Hubble deal a “perfect match.”

"Legato Security's commitment to excellence in managed detection and response services finds a perfect match in Hubble's pioneering technology. With MDR+, our clients will gain unprecedented insight and control over their cybersecurity, empowering them to keep pace with the evolving threat landscape."

MDR+ provides a “holistic view of technology environments,” real-time threat detection, and efficient mitigation strategies. Additionally, the integration aims to provide comprehensive reports and actionable insights into security control gaps, ensuring robust cyber resilience, the companies said.

As Tom Parker, Hubble chief executive and founder, explained:

"Aurora is a breakthrough in asset visibility and intelligence. By partnering with Legato Security, we are extending our capabilities to offer an unmatched, unified solution that addresses the pressing cybersecurity challenges that organizations face today."
