Logitech unveils new audio and video devices with AI focus

Logitech has launched a new line of next-generation video and audio devices, emphasizing enhanced AI capabilities and future-proofing for evolving technological needs. CRN reports that the announcements were made during the Logi Launch event, just weeks before the company's second fiscal quarter earnings report on Oct. 27.

Logitech introduced Sound Shape audio technology, which uses focused sound beams to evenly distribute audio across large spaces, potentially replacing complex ceiling speaker systems. The company also revealed the Rally Bar 2, an updated video bar with significantly increased edge AI processing power, aimed at medium-to-large meeting rooms. This iteration features enhanced audio, occupancy detection, and environmental sensing, designed to support AI-driven experiences.

Additionally, Logitech announced the second generation of its modular Rally System, including the RoomMate 2 Pro, Rally AI Camera Pro, and Rally Speaker 2, designed for large, adaptable spaces. The company also updated its Tap IP meeting room touch controller and Tap Scheduler, both featuring brighter displays and improved compute capabilities. These new products are designed to integrate with platforms like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, preparing users for future AI advancements and offering more sophisticated audio-visual solutions for enterprise environments.
