LogPoint SIEM Buys SAP Security Solution agileSI

Share

LogPoint, a security information and event management (SIEM) and user and entity behavior analytics (UEBA) provider, has acquired agileSI from Orange Cyberdefense, a Top 200 MSSP.

This is M&A deal 329 that MSSP Alert and ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2020. See the full M&A deal list here.

agileSI bridges the gap between SAP and SIEM, according to a prepared statement. It enables LogPoint customers to incorporate security data from SAP's enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform into its SIEM solution and access security analytics across their cybersecurity environments.

In addition, agileSI users can continue to leverage the solution in combination with Splunk, IBM QRadar and other SIEM tools, LogPoint noted. Orange also will provide agileSI security technologies as part of its cybersecurity portfolio.

What Is LogPoint?

LogPoint delivers an SIEM solution designed for MSSPs and in-house cybersecurity departments, the company said. The solution offers a variety of security capabilities, including:

  • Big Data Analytics: Help organizations assess security issues and incidents across their production applications and databases.
  • Cybersecurity Monitoring: Provides visibility into organizations' networks and systems.
  • Custom Playbooks: Ensure organizations can perform forensic investigations into security incidents.

Furthermore, MSSPs can integrate LogPoint's SIEM solution into their portfolios via the company's partner program.

A Closer Look at LogPoint's Partner Program

LogPoint's partner program was developed in conjunction with global MSSPs and provides access to certified training and marketing support, the company indicated. It also helps MSSPs upgrade their security offerings and capitalize on the rising demand for SIEM solutions.

More than 50 certified LogPoint partners deliver the company's SIEM solution to global organizations. LogPoint previously secured agreements with several large MSSPs as well.
