LTIMindtree has brought to market the V-Protect data protection and recovery platform powered by Rubrik.

Organizations can use V-Protect to define, protect and recover their Microsoft 365 workloads, LTIMindtree said in a prepared statement.

How LTIMindtree V-Protect Works

V-Protect combines Rubrik's technology and training with LTIMindtree's implementation support, professional services, governance, analytics and product penetration. In doing so, V-Protect promotes "seamless and secure collaboration anywhere, anytime using Microsoft 365 applications," the companies said.

V-Protect is designed to "mitigate the effects of ransomware attacks, human errors and data policy breaches to user and company data, as well as validate data compliance," LTIMindtree said. It also can be used in conjunction with LTIMindtree's VAULT service to help organizations address various data backup and recovery challenges.

Sivaramakrishnan Senthatty, LTIMindtree's executive and global service line head of Cloud, IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Services, explained how V-Protect bolsters his company's data security and data protection offerings:

"LTIMindtree V-Protect will strengthen our data security and data protection offerings, enabling customers to rapidly adopt new technologies and derive the maximum benefits in the journey towards achieving their digital transformation goals."

Arun Dharmalingam, Rubrik's vice president of International Channels, Alliances and Global Systems Integrators, explained how V-Protect helps organizations address cyber risks and speed up their recovery from cyberattacks:

"As we continue to propel Rubrik's mission to secure the world's data together with our partner ecosystem, we remain focused on addressing some of the most urgent cybersecurity risks organizations are facing. We are thrilled to partner with organizations like LTIMindtree and power their journey towards enabling customers to build resilience and swiftly recover from cyber incidents."

LTIMindtree Joins the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA)

Along with launching V-Protect, LTIMindtree in June 2023 became a member of MISA, which includes at least 67 MSSPs and independent software vendors (ISVs) that have integrated their solutions with Microsoft's security technologies.

LTIMindtree is using Microsoft Security product portfolio to enhance its managed detection and response (MDR) platform, the company said. It also is utilizing the Microsoft Sentinel security information and event management (SIEM) platform to help organizations prevent, detect and respond to cyberattacks.
