Arkavia will help Cerberus execute its growth strategy throughout Latin America, CEO David Jemmett said. It will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Cerberus and serve as the MSSP's South American headquarters.
Arkavia was founded in 2010 and specializes in data network and computer security. It offers the following security solutions:
- Application security
- Connectivity and optimization
- Endpoint security
- Information security consulting
- Perimeter security
Arkavia delivers its security solutions to organizations in financial services, telecommunications and other sectors. It also has established partnerships with Check Point Software Technologies, Fortinet and other cybersecurity companies.
The Arkavia acquisition comes after Cerberus in October 2021 purchased Red74, a risk management and IT security service provider. Cerberus is using Red74 to bolster its managed security services offerings, the company said.
Red74 remains focused on providing integrated risk managed services, the company indicated. It operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Cerberus.
