MSSP Ideal Integrations Buys Cloud Computing Company thinkCSC

Ideal Integrations has purchased thinkCSC to strengthen its market position and expand its technology services, the company said.

This is technology M&A deal number 196 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2023.

Ideal, founded in 2003, is based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The company has 91 employees listed on LinkedIn. Ideal's areas of expertise include cloud computing and managed services.

thinkCSC, founded in 1992, is based in Worthington, Ohio. The company has 31 employees listed on LinkedIn. thinkCSC's areas of expertise include cloud, managed IT and security services.

Ideal Accelerates Growth Strategy

The thinkCSC acquisition represents a "significant milestone" in Ideal's growth strategy, the companies indicated.

thinkCSC bolsters Ideal's technology services and allows the company to provide solutions that its customers can use to "achieve operational efficiency, enhance data security and accelerate their digital transformation journeys," the companies stated.

Furthermore, thinkCSC's customers will benefit from Ideal's cybersecurity solutions, the companies said. They can use these solutions to protect their cloud infrastructure from evolving threats and maintain data integrity.

A Closer Look at Ideal Integrations and thinkCSC

Ideal provides "secure, scalable and tailored solutions that empower organizations to achieve their goals," the company said. These solutions include:

  • Data security
  • Fiber connectivity
  • Network design
  • Virtual infrastructure

thinkCSC offers IT solutions designed to align an organization's IT with its goals, the company said. It provides these solutions to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), government agencies, nonprofits and other organizations across central Ohio.

Ideal and thinkCSC have not offered a channel partner program in the past. However, Ideal may look to develop and launch a partner program following its acquisition of thinkCSC.
