Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Cyber Defense Release: AttackIQ, abreach and attack simulation (BAS) vendor, has unveiled AttackIQ Ready! 2.0. This managed BAS simulation-as-a-service combines automated and on-demand adversary emulation testing that enables organizations to rapidly validate their cyber defense, the company said.

2. Security Solutions Come to AWS: Arctic Wolf, a security operations specialist, has made its portfolio of security operations solutions available in AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog of thousands of software listings from independent software vendors. This expanded listing accelerates Arctic Wolf’s sales engine and will enable organizations to start using Arctic Wolf’s security operations platform while maintaining their existing relationship with their channel partners.

3. Security Integration for MSPs: StorMagic has announced the availability of Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud integration with StorMagic SvSAN. The solution keeps data available, protected and recoverable while lowering costs for managed service providers (MSPs) and their customers. Together, Acronis and StorMagic "provide a data protection solution that offers MSPs and their customers peace of mind at a fraction of the cost," the company said.

4. Mobile Data Security Partnership: C8 Secure, a cybersecurity solutions provider focused on threat prevention, has entered into an agreement with Corrata, a mobile endpoint security solution provider. Through this agreement, C8 Secure has launched its Mobile Protect solution, a C8 Secure managed service that incorporates Corrata’s technology with other mobile-centric security capabilities, the companies said.

5. Cloud Security Launch: Tufin, a specialist in network and cloud security policy automation, has released Tufin Orchestration Suite (TOS) version R24-1. The latest additions to Tufin’s solution enhance customers’ ability to manage cloud security controls from a centralized interface, the company said. Key capabilities of the release include compliance support for Microsoft Azure firewall rules, audit enhancements for Azure firewalls and Network Security Groups (NSG), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) end-to-end troubleshooting, and Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access network change automation.

6. Data Loss Report Issued: Proofpoint, a cybersecurity and compliance company, has released its inaugural Data Loss Landscape report, which explores how current ​approaches to ​data loss prevention​ ​and insider threats​ are holding up against current challenges, such as ​data proliferation, sophisticated threat actors and ​generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). The findings reveal that data loss is a problem stemming from the interaction between humans and machines, as “careless users” are much more likely to cause those incidents than compromised or misconfigured systems, the company said.

7. Malware Alert: The Sign1 malware campaign has compromised more than 39,000 WordPress sites in the last six months, using malicious JavaScript injections to redirect users to scam sites. The most recent variant of the malware is estimated to have infected approximately 2,500 sites over the past two months alone. The attacks entail injecting rogue JavaScript into legitimate HTML widgets and plugins that allow for arbitrary JavaScript and other code to be inserted. (Source: The Hacker News)

8. New Cyber Platform Debuts: Redjack has launched its cyber resilience platform, which places a business function lens on asset inventory. The platform empowers organizations to prioritize cybersecurity, compliance and digital transformation efforts by providing a comprehensive view of assets and dependencies within the context of their business functions, the company said.
