Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Threat Intelligence Release: DarkLight, a cybersecurity solutions provider, has delivered new threat intelligence and enrichment sources into its flagship product, Cyio. Additionally, DarkLight has introduced several new intelligence and enrichment sources to better inform the identification and prioritization of risk. Cyio now accommodates the entire risk management lifecycle, from risk identification and prioritization to risk mitigation and remediation, the company said.

2. SAP Security Launch: SecurityBridge, a provider of SAP security solutions, has released SecurityBridge Platform version 6.26. This latest addition introduces a suite of advanced features to fortify SAP environments and address global enterprises' evolving security needs. SecurityBridge Platform version 6.26 offers a unified SAP security management platform positioned to orchestrate all SAP security solutions across various environments, the company said.

3. Cisco Security Alert: Cisco has released security updates to address vulnerabilities in Cisco IOS, IOS XE, and AP software. The Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) encourages users and administrators to review the following advisories and apply the necessary updates:

Also, Cisco has published its second Cybersecurity Readiness Index, which found that in the last year more than half of organizations have fallen victim to a cyberattack, and 73% of leaders believe they will experience a security incident in the next 12-24 months.

4. MXDR Release: Deloitte, a specialist in managed cloud security services, has expanded its alliance with Google Cloud by making Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) by Deloitte available on Google Cloud Marketplace. 

5. Security Partnership: NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services company, and Synopsys Software Integrity Group, a specialist in application security testing, have announced a global collaboration. The partnership is designed to provide application security solutions supported by advisory and managed services to clients to help them protect against software supply chain cybersecurity threats, the companies said.

6. Code Security Collaboration: AppViewX, a specialist in automated machine identity management and application security, and Fortanix, a data security company, are partnering to offer cloud-delivered secure digital identity management and code signing. Together, they will make it easy to address critical enterprise security challenges with comprehensive platforms for certificate lifecycle management automation and code signing, the companies said.

7. VPN Network Expansion: NordVPN has finished its comprehensive network development phase and increased the geography of locations customers can access. With more than 6,200 servers and access to 111 countries, NordVPN now has the broadest geographic coverage of locations among all VPN providers, the company said. New locations include Greenland, the Isle of Man, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda and Nepal.

8. SOAR Security Report Issued: SoftwareReviews, a source for insights on the software provider landscape, has published its 2024 Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) Data Quadrant Report. SOAR software allows organizations to efficiently analyze data from various sources, automate security operations and respond quickly to incidents. The report names four providers as Gold medalists for the year across the marketplace for SOAR software.

9. Funding Round: Skyflow, a data privacy vault company, has raised $30 million to extend its Series B funding. Khosla Ventures led the round, joined by prior investors Mouro Capital, Foundation Capital and Canvas Ventures. The investment follows revenue growth of more than 210% and quick adoption in the emerging market of sensitive data protection for Large Language Models (LLMs), the company said.

10. New SOC Center Opens: Eviden has opened a new security operations center (SOC) in Monterrey, Mexico to enable advanced cybersecurity services to organizations across North and South America. The Mexico center is Eviden’s 17th SOC. Eviden’s Mexico SOC will provide customers with its MDR solutions to detect and mitigate threats.
