Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. ASM Tool Debuts: Intel 471 has launched its 471 Attack Surface Protection solution, an attack surface management (ASM) tool that provides its customers visibility into their external threat landscape and drives a proactive response that neutralizes threats and mitigates risk. Fueled by Intel 471’s cyber threat intelligence data, 471 Attack Surface Protection discovers vulnerabilities and misconfigurations that present significant risk to externally facing network assets and can negatively impact security posture, the company said.

2. Gen AI for SaaS: Netskope, a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) provider, has brought to market SaaS security enhancements to Netskope One, its cloud-native platform that offers converged security and networking services to enable SASE and zero trust transformation. These new enhancements advance the platform’s Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) module with additional features designed for the era of Generative AI (genAI) and SaaS collaboration, the company said.

3. Multi-Tenant Portal for MSPS Offered: Josys, a SaaS management platform provider, has unveiled new a multi-tenant portal for MSPs. This portal extends Josys' SaaS management capabilities beyond a single enterprise, empowering MSPs with a unique approach for centrally provisioning, monitoring and governing SaaS on behalf of their clients. The Josys SaaS management platform provides MSPs with a holistic solution for managing and securing client SaaS environments with 360-degree control from a single console, the company said.

4. Industrial Cyber Defense Solution: Radiflow, a specialist in operational technology (OT) cybersecurity and risk management solutions, and Opscura, an industrial control system cybersecurity company, have formed a technology partnership aimed at delivering advanced industrial cybersecurity solutions. This collaboration will leverage Radiflow's expertise in OT cybersecurity and Opscura's data protection technologies to deliver enhanced, end-to-end protection for industrial networks and systems, the companies said.

5. Threat Insights Service Launched: Kyndryl, an IT infrastructure services provider, has announced that the Kyndryl Threat Insights Managed Service is available using Amazon Security Lake. The service automatically centralizes an organization's security data from across their Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments, to provide customers with greater visibility, driving enhanced identification, mitigation and response of sophisticated cybersecurity risks, the company said. Integrated into Kyndryl Bridge, customers benefit from a consolidated view of security risks that could negatively impact their business.

6. OT Security Partnership: DirectDefense, an information security services company, is partnering with Dragos, a specialist in cybersecurity for operational technology (OT) environments. This collaboration combines DirectDefense's expertise in managed security services with Dragos’ technology for visibility, detection and response to OT cyber threats to combat threats against industrial control systems (ICS), the companies said.

7. Cyber Insurance Offer: CrowdStrike has brought to market Falcon for Insurability, a new program allowing cyber insurers to provide organizations with industry-leading cyber protection from the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform at preferred rates. With Falcon for Insurability, insurers including Ascot Group, AXA XL, Beazley Insurance, Berkley Cyber Risk Solutions, Coalition and Resilience reduce underwriting risk knowing that insured organizations have best-in-class cyber protection from the Falcon platform to improve cyber resilience and stop breaches, the company said.

8. Passwordless Authentication Release: Thales, a global technology and security provider, has released Passwordless 360°, a new concept for passwordless authentication that offers Thales customers the broadest coverage of passwordless function across multiple types of users and assurance levels. Passwordless 360° has the flexibility to let companies use the latest technologies, like FIDO passkeys, while also making the most of previous investments they might have made in passwordless technologies, the company said.

9. Cyberattack on Tank Maker: Santa Barbara Systems, a General Dynamics subsidiary in Spain that is refurbishing Leopard tanks for delivery to Ukraine, suffered a cyberattack on its website, a pro-Russia hacker group said. A spokesperson for General Dynamics confirmed that the defense contractor's Spanish unit had been targeted in an attempted cyberattack "that was detected immediately and has not compromised any of the company's systems."
