Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. XDR Acquisition Closes: Lumifi Cyber has acquired Netsurion, a managed extended detection and response (MXDR) provider. The acquisition delivers enhanced security to Netsurion’s customer base through Lumifi’s U.S.-based security operations center (SOC) alongside Lumifi’s proprietary SHIELDVision platform. 2. Compliance Help for MSPs: N-able, a global software company helping IT services providers deliver remote monitoring and management, data protection as-a-service and security solutions, is working with MSPAlliance to help equip MSPs to meet compliance requirements proactively using MSPAlliance’s Cyber Verify program.

3. vCISO Services Expansion: Cynomi, a vCISO (virtual chief information security officer) platform provider for MSPs and MSSPs, has expanded its offering to European-based clients while ensuring data remains in Europe. Following its roll out in the North American marketplace, Cynomi is now available to help service providers address the demand for vCISO and strategic cybersecurity services across Europe, the company said.

4. MSP Offering Launches: TD SYNNEX, a leading global distributor and solutions aggregator, has launched MSP Evolve. This aggregation of resources and tools is designed to optimize operational excellence and accelerate business growth for the unique needs of MSPs, and will initially be available for North America.

5. Cyber Insurance for MSPs: Guardz, a cybersecurity company empowering MSPs and IT professionals to deliver security solutions, has launched its cyber insurance offering coupled with active cyber protection, tailored specifically for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Available across the U.S. to businesses both directly and through a network of MSPs, the unified Guardz offering is bridging the gap of secure and insure that SMBs and MSPs face in the cybersecurity realm, the company said.

6. Funding Round: Token Security has emerged from stealth, launching its machine-first identity security platform. Token also announced $7 million in seed funding led by TLV Partners with participation from SNR and several angel investors, including Shlomo Kramer, one of the founding fathers of cybersecurity in Israel, the company said.

7. Cyber Insurance Partnerships: Dragos, a specialist in cybersecurity for operational technology environments, has announced multiple partnerships with insurance providers, brokers and legal firms. The collaborations allow Dragos customers to create a unified incident command structure comprising internal and external teams that are prepared to communicate with each other and respond quickly to cyber events and minimize damages. the company said.

8. Leadership Move: Sophos has named Joe Levy CEO. Levy, who had been acting CEO since February 15, named Jim Dildine Sophos’ new chief financial officer and a member of his senior management team. Levy has in-depth experience working with the channel, including MSPs, throughout his career, which began in the mid-1990s as a cybersecurity practitioner and product and service innovator at a value-added reseller, the company said.
