Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. MSSP Launches Cyber Readiness Service: MSSP Nuspire has launched its new Incident Response Readiness Service. The service equips organizations with the tools and expert-led training necessary to effectively handle and mitigate cybersecurity threats through realistic simulations and scenario-based training. the Incident Response Readiness Service provides an environment where organizational teams can test and enhance their incident response strategies. By engaging in tailored cybersecurity scenarios that reflect the specific risks faced by each organization, teams are better prepared to tackle potential security breaches, Nuspire said.

2. AI Assistant Unveiled: Barracuda Networks, a cloud-first security solutions provider, has brought to market an AI assistant to the Barracuda Partner Portal, bringing partners stronger search and enablement capabilities. Barracuda AI Assistant will enhance the partner experience and ease-of-use of the partner portal, and it will help partners save time and improve productivity, the company said.

3. Identity Security Release: Beyond Identity, a provider of passwordless, phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication, has released its Secure Access Platform. This secured-by-design solution is engineered to protect organizations from the sophisticated and evolving landscape of credential and access-based attacks, the company said.

4. Cyber Compliance Report Released: According to a newly released report from Swimlane, only 40% of organizations feel fully prepared to meet the compliance demands of rising cybersecurity regulations. In the report “Regulation vs. Reality: Are the Fed’s Attempts at Wrangling Incident Disclosure Effective?”, organizations still feel unprepared for new regulations despite 93% of organizations rethinking their strategies and 92% increasing budgets.

5. CyberRisk TV Debuts: CyberRisk Alliance (CRA), which owns MSSP Alert, has launched CyberRisk TV, a service designed to capture cutting-edge cybersecurity content at major cybersecurity industry events and to broadcast it across CRA’s extended network of media channels and brands. CRA’s experienced production teams will capture content on-site and in-studio from industry experts, practitioners and market suppliers and provide amplified reach for the latest news, information and insight emerging from the best events across the country, the company said.

6. MDR Deal: Open Text Corporation has purchased Pillr, a managed detection and response (MDR) platform from Novacoast, Inc. Pillr technology is a cloud native, multi-tenant MDR platform for MSPs. This combination of Pillr technology and OpenText security expertise provides enhanced threat hunting, monitoring and response for customers where skill gaps, skill shortages and alert fatigue create a significant need, the company said. 7. Identity Security Offering: CyberArk, an identity security company, has announced new enhancements across its identity security platform. Driven by AI and identity threat detection and response, the new functionality enables organizations to apply the right level of privilege controls to every identity, while providing a consistent customer experience for CyberArk administrators and end users, the company said.

8. Threat Defense Partnership: Pax8, a cloud commerce marketplace, is partnering with Perception Point. Through Perception Point’s Advanced Threat Prevention solutions. Partners can safeguard their customers with threat prevention covering email, Microsoft 365 collaboration apps (Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive) and web browsers from one platform. The solutions include Perception Point’s 24/7 managed incident response service, which offloads resource-intensive and time-consuming investigations and remediation from partners, the company said.

9. Funding Round: Bolster, a multi-channel phishing protection provider, has announced a $14 million Series B financing round led by new investor M12, Microsoft's venture fund. Existing investors Thomvest Ventures, Crosslink Capital, Liberty Global Ventures, Cheyenne Ventures, Cervin Ventures and Transform Capital also participated. The financing brings Bolster's total funding to over $40 million.
