MSSP Market News: From Alerts to Actually Getting Things Done

Padlock with castle turrets amidst glowing digital network, symbolizing data security

This week’s activity points to a market reorganizing around execution and services, not just tools. Infoblox tightening its partner program around MSSPs and GSIs shows how service-led delivery is becoming the default way vendors expect to scale. The funding news tells the same story from different angles. Claroty is leaning into cyber-physical and critical infrastructure security as geopolitical risk pushes OT from optional to essential. Furl is betting that detection alone is no longer enough and that remediation is where real value lives. Asymmetric Security is going after the cost and drag of incident response itself. This isn’t about more alerts or larger platforms. It’s about closing the gap between signal, decision, and action, and shifting partner economics toward those who can turn security into consistent, operational outcomes at scale.

Market Pulse: Cybersecurity Deals, Funding, and Platform Shifts

Infoblox expands "Skilled to Secure" Partner Program: Infoblox has updated its Skilled to Secure Partner Program with a new Service Provider track designed to support managed security service providers (MSSPs) and global system integrators (GSIs). The changes introduce clearer program requirements, role-based enablement paths, and expanded tools such as non-for-resale demo environments and operational resources to help partners scale service delivery. The revised structure also adds invite-only subtracks for MSSPs and GSIs and increases training, technical support, and go-to-market assistance, reflecting Infoblox’s effort to align partner enablement with evolving service-led business models and growing demand for recurring security services.

Claroty raises $150 million in Series F: Claroty has raised $150 million in Series F funding led by Golub Growth, with up to $50 million in additional participation from existing investors, to support global expansion and continued development of its cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection platform. The company said the capital will be used for both organic growth and acquisitions as demand rises for securing operational technology and critical infrastructure amid escalating ransomware and geopolitical risk.

Furl raises $10 million: Furl has raised $10 million in seed funding to accelerate development of its autonomous vulnerability remediation platform. The round was led by Ten Eleven Ventures, with participation from Open Opportunity Fund and angel investors. Founded by former executives from Rapid7, Automox, and Censys, the Los Angeles–based startup is using agentic AI to move security teams beyond detection and prioritization into hands-on remediation, integrating with existing security tools to investigate system context and execute fixes automatically.

Asymmetric Security raises $4.2 million: Asymmetric Security has emerged from stealth with $4.2 million in oversubscribed pre-seed funding to build what it describes as a full-stack, AI-native incident response platform aimed at cutting the time and cost of cyber investigations by up to 10x. The company said its platform uses frontier AI models to ingest and analyze large volumes of email, identity, and cloud telemetry to rapidly reconstruct attack timelines, while keeping human responders in the loop for validation and legal defensibility.
