Today’s MSSP Alert Market News:

1. Cybersecurity Acquisition Closes: SHI International, a global technology solutions provider, has acquired cybersecurity firm Moot Inc. Moot fortifies Stratascale, SHI’s cybersecurity and digital solutions company, by complementing the recent acquisition of Vector0 in September 2023. While Vector0 powers Stratascale's Attack Surface Control & Vulnerability Management as a Service capabilities, Moot’s orchestration platform automates the steps required to achieve a dramatic reduction of an organization’s attack surface, SHI said. This is technology M&A deal number 63 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2024. See more than 2,000 technology M&A deals for 2023, 2022, 2021, and 2020 listed here.

Database Proxy integrates Senhasegura’s PAM security controls to help database administrators manage data security, control and compliance and better protect against costly data breaches, the company said.
