MSSP Market Update: Intezer Expands AI SOC Capabilities

Futuristic digital eye. Cybersecurity concept. Close up of human eye with digital circuit concept. bionic eye and futuristic vision

At Right of Boom last month, news broke of a cool partnership between Right of Boom itself, Center for Internet Security, Black Hills Information and Antisyphon to deliver CIS Controls training to MSPs.

This course is endorsed by the Center for Internet Security and can be used to obtain your CIS accreditation affordably and easily. Now, John Strand and Phyllis Lee are hosting their first Getting Started & Ask Me Anything (AMA) in the CIS Controls Mastery Course for MSPs so you can see what it's all about.

The AMA will be held today, March 7, 2025, at 2:00 pm EST, and it's open to all. Check it out!

Now, here's today's MSSP update. Drop me a line at [email protected] if you have news to share or want to say hi!

Today's MSSP Update

1. Intezer expands AI SOC capabilities: Identity security firm Intezer announced updates to its AI SOC platform to autonomously triage and investigate identity-based threats. Intezer’s AI SOC platform now integrates with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta to autonomously triage identity alerts. Combining smart queries, contextual data enrichment, and AI-driven decision-making, the platform aims to dramatically improve accuracy and drastically cut response times.

2. Quorum Cyber receives Microsoft Security Excellence awards: Quorum Cyber, a Microsoft-first security services provider and MISA member, announced the company has achieved finalist status in three categories for the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards: Security MSSP of the Year, Data Security & Compliance Trailblazer, and Security Changemaker. The company is one of many members of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), an ecosystem of independent software vendors (ISVs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that have integrated their security products and services with Microsoft’s security technology. Award winners will be announced April 28, 2025, at the Microsoft Security Excellence Awards.

3. PKI Solutions' HSM solution: PKI posture management solutions firm PKI Solutions has added a vendor-agnostic solution for hardware security modules (HSMs): PKI Spotlight's Multi-HSM Monitoring. The solution allows users to gain unified, real-time visibility into both nCipher (Entrust) and Luna (Thales) HSMs, including on-premises and cloud-based deployments (Luna DPoD and nCipher HSM as a Service).

4. Crogl launches with new risk management knowledge engine: Cybersecurity risk management startup Crogl launched today, and released its new knowledge engine. Crogl founders Monzy Merza (CEO) and David Dorsey (CTO) have worked at Sandia National Laboratory, Splunk and Databricks in the past. Crogl’s knowledge engine continuously learns an organization's operational security processes and data to quickly investigate alerts consistently and with auditable actions. Unlike traditional security tools, it does not require schema normalization, coding or playbook creation; instead, it executes thorough investigations and detailed documentation while allowing customers to maintain complete data sovereignty.

5. NordStellar launches cybersquatting detection: Threat exposure management platform NordStellar this week launched a new AI-powered cybersquatting detection feature. Domain squatting techniques are often a precursor to phishing, malware distribution, or hosting fraudulent content, which can result in significant reputational damage for the brand and monetary losses for its customers. The new feature automatically detects cybersquatting cases and alerts businesses so they can shut the squatters down.
