New Cyber Insurance Coverage Plans and Partnerships Surface

Share

Multiple companies in the cyber insurance market have announced new partnerships, coverages and services in recent days.

Among the moves to note:

  • Data privacy specialist BlackFog has partnered with cyber insurance specialist Evolve to help policy holders assess their current exposure to cyberthreats and mitigate the risks associated with ransomware.
  • Cowbell Cyber has introduced an excess cyber coverage line called Prime Plus. Businesses that have up to $1 billion in revenue can access an additional $10 million in excess limits, Cowbell Cyber says.
  • Pathpoint now offers access to multiple cyber quotes from multiple carriers through a single online application containing nine underwriting questions.
  • Cybersecurity & risk management startup Zeguro recently expanded its cyber insurance coverage beyond ransomware attacks to include computer fraud and more.

MSSP Alert does not endorse any particular cyber insurance provider, and reminds readers that policies vary greatly from provider to provider. Translation: Focus heavily on due diligence before signing up for a policy.
