Orange Cyberdefense Partners with VC Firm NightDragon, Eyes European Market

Orange Cyberdefense, the cybersecurity division of global network operator and digital services provider Orange Group, has formed a partnership with venture capital firm NightDragon.

The partnership provides Orange Cyberdefense with access to NightDragon's portfolio companies, according to a prepared statement. It allows Orange Cyberdefense to evaluate these companies and use their technologies to expand its cybersecurity offerings and expand its European market reach.

In addition, the partnership expands NightDragon's capabilities under its go-to-market business unit, the companies said. NightDragon will have access to Orange Cyberdefense's cybersecurity playbooks, programs and partnerships to enhance its go-to-market capabilities.

NightDragon's portfolio companies will work with over Orange Cyberdefense experts across 160 countries, according to a prepared statement. They will leverage Orange Cyberdefense's expertise in threat research and intelligence to deliver cybersecurity technologies to European organizations.

Furthermore, NightDragon companies can receive marketing and technical support and business development from Orange Cyberdefense. They also can work with Orange Cyberdefense to review assets in their respective portfolios for potential capital co-investment opportunities.

Orange Cyberdefense Partners with Microsoft

The NightDragon partnership comes as Orange Cyberdefense in June 2022 joined the Microsoft Security Intelligence Association (MISA). In doing so, Orange Cyberdefense can work Microsoft's ecosystem of independent software vendors and MSSPs to help organizations defend against cyber threats.

Orange Cyberdefense has integrated its Managed Threat Detection service with Microsoft Sentinel. This integration allows organizations to use Managed Threat Detection and Sentinel capabilities to monitor and manage their security operations.

Orange Cyberdefense provides managed security, managed threat detection and response services, and threat research and intelligence. It offers a technology partner program and continues to explore opportunities to collaborate with cybersecurity companies from around the world.
