SafeGuard Cyber has unveiled a new version of the Illuminate Partner Program that allows MSSPs and value-added resellers (VARs) to use the company's security and compliance platform across their customers' business communications, according to a prepared statement.
The company previously launched its Illuminate program in May 2021.
Illuminate now helps partners "drive profitability and predictability ... address business communication compromise," said John McCabe, SafeGuard's VP of worldwide channel sales.
MSSP Partners Join Illuminate Program
Partners can leverage SafeGuard's platform to mitigate risks across their customers' email, mobile and web messaging apps, collaboration apps and social media. In addition, they can perform multi-channel threat investigations, access contextual analysis and learn about threats and how to protect their customers against them.
Meanwhile, Illuminate partners can "provide proof of value to customers in as little as two weeks," McCabe stated. To do so, they can deploy SafeGuard's platform in conjunction with more than 30 cloud applications. This allows partners to generate business communication risk reports that they can use to show customers what risks they face and how to address them.
To date, more 25 technology providers have joined Illuminate. The program's MSSP partners include BlueAlly, XO Cyber and BSL Group.
SafeGuard's Integrations with Microsoft Azure, Okta
The Illuminate news comes after SafeGuard in July 2022 integrated its platform with Microsoft Azure AD and Okta to "enable automated and workflow-based responses to advanced social engineering threats," the company said.
Organizations can use these integrations to manage and automate responses to threats and risks across their customers' communication channels, SafeGuard noted. They also can protect their customers against impersonation and account takeover attacks and compliance violations.
SafeGuard offers a cloud communications security and compliance platform to global organizations. The company in September 2022 hired McCabe to lead its channel strategy and continues to explore partnership opportunities with MSSPs, MSPs, VARs and other technology providers.
