SonicWall has introduced secure SD-Branch capabilities and new multi-gigabit switches designed to help organizations manage remote or branch locations, according to a prepared statement. The news comes during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in which businesses are increasingly allowing employees to work remotely. The SD-Branch capabilities offer single-pane-of-glass management across LAN, WAN and security controls, SonicWall indicated. They provide zero-touch deployment and are accessible via subscription license models to help organizations control their costs and reduce their operational overhead.SonicWall's multi-gigabit switches work in combination with the company's next-generation firewalls and wireless access points, the business stated. They enable organizations to create an end-to-end multi-gigabit network that can be managed via SonicWall's Capture Security Center cloud security management system.Along with its SD-Branch capabilities and multi-gigabit switches, SonicWall offers the Capture Client solution to help organizations control and manage content accessed by endpoints, the company indicated. It also provides a Boundless Cybersecurity platform that helps organizations handle cyber threats across remote, mobile and cloud-enabled workforces. Meanwhile, multiple cybersecurity companies are introducing Work From Home and Work From Anywhere technology services. For instance, a recent Netsurion SIEM update offers Remote Workforce Threat Detection and reporting capabilities to partner MSSPs and MSPs.
