Resecurity, an endpoint protection, risk management and cyber threat intelligence platform provider, has purchased vulnerability assessment and penetration testing company Cybit Sec for an undisclosed sum.
This is technology M&A deal number 674 that MSSP Alert and sister site ChannelE2E have covered so far in 2022.
Resecurity, founded in 2017, is based in Los Angeles, California. The company has 42 employees listed on LinkedIn. Resecurity's areas of expertise include threat intelligence, digital risk monitoring, digital asset protection, endpoint protection, cloud security, security research, network security and computer security.
Cybit Sec, founded in 2021, is based in the United Arab Emirates. The company has one employee listed on LinkedIn. Cybit Sec's areas of expertise include cybersecurity, penetration testing and application security.
Resecurity Expands Middle East Presence
Cybit Sec offers expertise and research that complement Resecurity's threat detection and response capabilities, Resecurity CEO Gene Yoo said. It accelerates Resecurity's expansion in the Middle East and allows the company to build out its research and threat intelligence technologies.
In addition, Cybit Sec's offerings will be integrated into Resecurity's cybersecurity solutions, the companies stated. This ensures that organizations can use Resecurity's solutions to analyze threat intelligence and explore ways to protect against security gaps.
Resecurity Showcases Cyber Threat Intelligence Platform for Middle East Government Organizations
Resecurity's platform uses APIs to block cyberattacks and record endpoint activity, the company said. The platform's features include:

Along with its cyber threat intelligence platform, Resecurity provides several cybersecurity services, including:

Resecurity protects 4.7 million consumers globally against cyberattacks, the company noted. It also provides a partner program that allows MSSPs and MSPs to integrate Resecurity's cybersecurity services into their portfolios.
