AI drives Sentinel Technologies sales amid growing cyber threats

Bob Keblusek, CTO of Sentinel Technologies, highlighted that AI is a central theme in all customer discussions, significantly boosting security-related conversations. The company is seeing increased demand for solutions that can secure AI, including access control, data protection, and the implementation of guardrails. Furthermore, AI itself is being leveraged in security products for threat hunting and analysis. However, malicious actors are also utilizing AI, accelerating the pace and sophistication of attacks. This necessitates the adoption of AI-powered defenses to counter AI-driven threats.

Sentinel Technologies is also actively selling through the AWS Marketplace, finding it a convenient channel for customers with existing spending agreements. While pricing concerns regarding VMware have somewhat stabilized, new innovations within VMware are expected to further drive AI adoption, particularly for customers interested in localizing AI platforms for cost and compliance reasons, potentially offering a more secure alternative to public clouds.
