Anthropic focuses on partner enablement and AI certifications

Anthropic is heavily investing in its partner program and AI certifications to meet the growing enterprise demand for AI solutions, according to CRN. As businesses move beyond initial AI experimentation, they require solution providers who can demonstrate clear ROI and successful large-scale AI agent deployments.

Anthropic's channel chief, Steve Corfield, highlighted the company's commitment to empowering partners through robust training and certification programs. The Claude certification aims to be the gold standard for AI deployment safety, with over 75,000 consultants already certified across nearly 2,000 firms. This initiative addresses the need for a skilled workforce capable of managing enterprise AI adoption, which Corfield described as the biggest platform shift of its kind.

The partner program, launched in March, has already attracted 42,000 registrations, indicating significant market demand. Anthropic is differentiating its program by focusing on end-to-end engagements, including consulting, deployment at scale, and measuring AI outcomes, emphasizing business results and model strategy over cost per token. The company is also infusing its applied AI technology experts into partner teams to ensure high-quality deployments and is using a $100 million partner investment for proofs of concept and customer investment funds to accelerate transformational projects.
