ArmorPoint has announced a strategic reseller partnership with Lab19 to bring managed cybersecurity services to small and midsize businesses. Through the partnership, Lab19 will use ArmorPoint’s SOC, SIEM, and threat monitoring capabilities to expand the security support it provides to clients with varied IT environments. The partnership is aimed at SMBs that are dealing with more complex security needs, especially those in regulated or compliance-driven markets. Many of these companies are not starting from a clean slate. They may have internal IT teams, an MSP relationship, a co-managed model, or a mix of tools already in place. That makes flexibility important, because security services have to fit into existing operations without adding more complexity. For Lab19, the partnership supports its move toward a more advisory-led security model. The company has more than 25 years of network design and support experience, and ArmorPoint gives it a way to add managed SOC, SIEM, and cybersecurity program management services without building every capability on its own. That matters because many SMB clients now need stronger monitoring, response, and compliance support, but may not have the budget or staff to manage those functions internally.SMBs still need help turning security into something they can actually run day to day. Many do not have the staff, budget or time to manage SOC, SIEM, monitoring and compliance on their own. That creates an opening for providers that can pair advisory support with managed security services. The ArmorPoint-Lab19 partnership fits that need, especially for customers working across internal IT teams, MSP relationships and co-managed environments.
