Cato Adds AI-Driven Policy Automation to SASE Platform

Cato Networks has introduced Autonomous Policies, a new AI-powered feature within its SASE Cloud Platform aimed at simplifying and optimizing policy management, according to SiliconAngle. The tool is designed to reduce manual effort, minimize risk, and enhance operational efficiency by automating the analysis and adjustment of security, access, and networking policies.

The first application targets firewall-as-a-service environments, where organizations often struggle with bloated, outdated, or misconfigured rule sets. By automating policy clean-up and optimization, Cato helps reduce unnecessary exposure and improve firewall performance without relying on time-consuming manual reviews.

Cato’s unified approach to access control already consolidates policies across users, devices, locations, and clouds.
